Hatched and Gone The nest is empty, what’s next?

Down, down, down it goes…

It’s amazing how much there is to take down and put away…I keep telling myself to “simplifiy”…but to no avail…I just keep collecting more and more Christmas…just too much fun!

While I’m cramming tinsel in boxes the local stud (my hubbie) is whippin’ up his New Year traditional breakfast burritos. This is truly serious business.After feeding the famished family he wraps up the rest to feast on every morning for a month.

The delicious anticipation is staved off by finishing a christmas puzzle.

This year week cooked two Turkey’s for Thanksgiving, one the traditional way and the other my son, Adam deep-fried.

I love this photo for two reasons:

1. It’s one of the only photos that did not turn out blurry
2. No one in this photo can take their eyes off the Turkeys.  Can you tell we were hungry?

I had so much fun last night helping my daughter, Christie, put together some pretty tinsely Santa ornaments for her Etsy shop. I’m tempted to buy them all up myself to add some new sparkly to my tree. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Aren’t I lucky?  My daughter just sent me this beautiful Advent Calendar all finished!  I asked her to pick up a kit for me from Paradise Scrapbook Boutique, instead she put the whole thing together! What talent! I’m one lucky Mom.

This just made my Christmas!  I’m ready to start decorating, bring out the boxes.
